Welcome to Intravene, a division of Infectious Disease Associates of Central Virginia, where we have offered infusion therapy services since 1989. All infusion therapy is conducted in an Intravene facility or in the patient’s home based on the therapy ordered.
Our team of highly skilled and caring professionals include pharmacists, nurses and physicians who are committed to providing the highest level of intravenous care available. Convenient, Close to Home.
Our facilities include infusion areas for patients and a state licensed pharmacy which prepares our sterile products. In addition to outpatient intravenous antibiotic therapy, we also offer:
- Total Parenteral Nutrition
- Biologic Therapy – Remicade, Rituxan, Orencia, Simponi Aria, Cimzia, Benlysta, Tysabri, Krystexxa, Ocrevus, Actemra, Stelara, Zinplava, and other Specialty Biologics
- Osteoporosis Therapy – Reclast, Prolia, and Evenity
- Asthma Therapy – Xolair, Cinqair, Nucala, and Fasenra
- IVIG therapy
