Ryan White

We are excited to have the opportunity to offer the services of a Ryan White funded clinic to the Central Virginia community in our own offices.  Our new clinic is partnering with the Virginia Department of Health and the Council of Community Services to provide the highest quality HIV care in Lynchburg.

Our practice has been serving patients with HIV in Lynchburg for more than 40 years. In fact, our group of physicians, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Health, established the first HIV clinic in Central Virginia.  We have provided HIV care in Lynchburg, Danville, Martinsville, and South Boston since that time.  As a group, we have decades of experience caring for patients with HIV, and we look forward to using our clinical experience to help guide care for our patients in the Ryan White clinic in our office facility.

In our clinic:

You will be cared for by board-certified Infectious Diseases physicians who have years of training and experience managing HIV infection from initial diagnosis through long term care.

• You will have a care team of specialty trained physicians, nurses and other staff dedicated to providing the highest quality of medical care in a compassionate and supportive environment.
• You will have seamless care between inpatient and outpatient needs.
• You will receive care regardless of health insurance status.

We provide the below services related to your HIV status:

• Immunizations
• Laboratory studies
• Medical case management
• Referral to behavioral health and substance use programs
• Referral to dental services
• Medication assistance including assistance with copays, managing refills
• STI screening, testing, and treatment

We will also provide essential support services including assistance with:

• Transportation
• Housing
• Food
• Utilities
• Mental health
