Robert Owen Brennan, MD, FACP, FIDSA

Dr. Brennan is board certified in infectious diseases and specializes in treating patients with HIV and hepatitis C. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia, completed his internal medicine training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and his fellowship in infectious disease at Duke University Medical Center where he was also chief resident in the Department of Medicine. He has been a recipient of the “Best Doctors in America” award since 1996 and was awarded the “John Bell Clinical Excellence Award” by the Centra Board in 2012. Dr. Brennan is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, medical director of the Hepatitis C Treatment Center and Co-Director of the Ryan White Clinic for HIV care.
